Hi! I'm Karen Irons. I got my first dog when I was six months old and dogs have been an important part of my life ever since.

My first exposure to positive training came 18 years ago when I attended a class with my very challenging rescue Golden Retriever. About 6 years later when I got a new puppy, I got a clicker in the puppy package and it made my training faster and more efficient. I could finally keep up with my smart dog, we were partners in training.

I have had the privilege of working with some really great trainers and have furthered my education by attending seminars given by well-known trainers and behavior specialists such as Karen Pryor, Ken Ramirez and Kathy Sdao.
